Washing - Traditional washing of shaggy carpets is not recommended. This can damage them. Carpet fibres are capable of absorbing a large amount of water. An acceptable way may be to use a vacuum cleaner.
Vacuuming - It is advisable to vacuum the carpet regularly to remove dirt. It is advisable to use additional tips such as turbo (soft) brushes and to change direction several times during vacuuming.
Do not clean with aggressive chemicals containing solvents and bleaches.
Fine dirt can be removed with a damp cloth. If water is to be used, a minimal amount so as not to soak the carpet.
