Dual microphone without cable with UHF frequency
The WM60UDB wireless dual microphone is a set of two wireless microphones that operate in the UHF frequency range and are versatile. Thanks to the supplied signal receiver (one receiver for two microphones), which terminates in a universal 6.3 mm jack, this device can be connected to all portable loudspeakers with microphone input or devices with short-range microphone connection. If the external audio device has a 3.5 mm microphone jack, the adapter included in the scope of delivery can be used. After connecting the signal receiver to the loudspeaker and switching on both microphones, the devices are automatically paired and ready for use. The microphones have a wide transmission range of 65 Hz to 18 kHz and therefore offer a very good and detailed sound.
UHF frequency:
The Blaupunkt WM60UDB wireless microphones operate in the UHF frequency range, which is the most suitable for this type of device. Since UHF waves propagate mainly in line of sight, the microphone can be used outdoors, while the signal is strong enough not to obstruct walls, so the microphones can also be used indoors. The ultra-high frequency transmission allows a very good quality signal to be obtained using a relatively short antenna. The receiver included in the scope of delivery is therefore very practical and handy, and the maximum range is about 30 meters.
Power supply:
The microphones are powered by standard AA batteries. The batteries are included in the scope of delivery and allow continuous use of the microphones for about 3 hours. The signal receiver is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1200 mAh and allows continuous use for about 7 hours. The receiver has an integrated micro USB port for charging the battery, so it can be quickly recharged using a universal charging station, such as a cell phone charger with a 5V/1A charging capacity. Charging status and full charge are indicated by the integrated LED indicator on the receiver.
16 UHF channels:
The two microphones in the WM60UDB set support 16 channels each in the UHF frequency range: one microphone from 640 MHz to 647.5 MHz and the other from 650 MHz to 657.5 MHz. These bands are fully legal and suitable for this type of device. The device automatically changes range if it detects interference or if another device is transmitting on the same frequency. This allows smooth and uninterrupted operation in various conditions.
