Range Extender TL-WA850RE TP-Link
Users can easily extend the range of the wireless network, without the need for any additional cables, by placing the device within range of an existing wireless network. All you need to do is press the WPS button on the router and then the Range Extender button on the extender (in any order). A single Ethernet port of the TL-WA850RE repeater allows you to use the device as a network card, allowing you to connect wired network devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles and digital TV set-top boxes to the wireless network. At the same time, the device strengthens the signal of the wireless network.
The repeater is equipped with 5 LEDs showing the strength of the received wireless network signal, which helps to determine the appropriate location to place the device for the best range and performance of wireless connections. For optimal operation, it is recommended to place the amplifier in a place where at least 3 blue LEDs are lit.
