The ER20 has a dual-band radio tuner with PLL digital synthesis, which receives programs broadcast in the FM and AM bands. The range can be switched using the "mode" button on the front panel, while the desired station can be tuned using the "previous" or "next" buttons on the front of the device. An automatic radio station programming function is available – simply press and hold the "PROG" button and the device will scan and program the available radio stations. If you want to program radio stations in your own order, you can do so manually. You can store up to 50 radio stations in FM and 20 in AM. The current frequency can be checked on the LED display, also located on the main panel.
In order to ensure the best possible radio signal reception, a telescopic rotating antenna has been built in, which can be easily extended and rotated in any direction.
The radio has an alarm clock function. The alarm can be set using a buzzer or by automatically turning on the radio station. There is also a SLEEP function, i.e., a timer. You can select a range of minutes from 15 to 90, after which the radio will automatically turn off.
The ER20 has the ability to emit a loud SOS alarm signal. This feature can be used when the user is lost in the forest and needs help. The volume level of the SOS alarm signal is 110 dB. This is a really loud signal that will help locate the lost person and make the work of the relevant emergency services much easier.
The radio also has a built-in flashlight with three lighting modes. The first mode allows for spot lighting, and the beam has a longer range. The second mode offers a more diffused light with a wider range, but slightly shorter than the first mode.
