Professional, compact Xtar MC1 processor charger for Li-ion batteries in 18650 and others. The small housing is hidden by a fully professional processor charger with a three-phase TC/CC/CV charging process. Charges Li-ion 3.6 / 3.7 V cells of any capacity in sizes 10440, 14500, 14650, 16340, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 18700, 22650, 25500, 26650.
What is the TC/CC/CV charging method? It is a three-stage process for charging Li-ion cells so that the maintenance of the cell is kept in good condition by charging the correct current in each phase and ending the charging process at the correct time.

The different stages of the TC/CC/CV process are:
- TC phase: cells that are discharged below 2.9 V are 'awakened' with a lower current.
- CC phase: after reaching 2.9 V, the cell is charged with a constant current of 0.5A.
- CV Phase: When the cell is nearly charged, the charger switches to decreasing current charging until the voltage reaches 4.2V on the cell. After reaching 4.2 volts, the charging process is complete - the battery is fully charged.
- Batteries with a voltage of 4.1 V or higher are treated as charged by the charger. To fully charge such a battery, put it in the charger before turning it on. - Charged batteries still in the charger undergo a natural self-discharge process. Charging will resume when the battery voltage drops below 4.1V.
- Xtar MC1 charger has the function of reactivating deeply discharged cells and 0V cells. Many chargers on the market are not capable of charging such batteries. Here comes the Xtar MC1 charger, which in many cases allows you to "rescue" such cells. All you need to do is plug a deeply discharged battery into the MC1 charger, just like normal charging - the charger will detect the dead battery and try to reactivate it. Look out! Cells discharged below a certain level are irreversibly damaged and their reactivation may be impossible. Avoid over-discharging Li-ion batteries - this can lead to a significant reduction in their durability and capacity or to their total failure.

Chargers from other manufacturers can significantly increase the temperature of charged cells during charging. Excessive heating of the cells can cause them to wear out faster. In designing the MC1 charger, Xtar went a step further from the competition and solved this problem in a simple way: power from an external power supply was used. As a result, the temperature of the battery being charged in the MC1 will increase by 15 degrees.
In the set with the Xtar MC1 charger we get a micro USB cable and a protective cover for the charger during transport. The set does not include power supply. To power the charger, it is enough to use any charger with a micro USB cable, e.g. from a phone or a USB socket or a computer with a free USB port. The recommended minimum charger power is 0.5 A (500 mA).

- CPU-controlled TC/CC/CV charging process in three stages
- Powered by a micro USB charger or USB port on the computer (at least 0.5A)
- Small size - easy to carry
- The reactivation function of deeply discharged cells
- Protections: short circuit, thermal, reverse polarity
