The Unimax Standard Filter contains a carefully selected and regularly monitored filter media blend consisting of activated carbon and ion-exchange resin. As a result, the filter significantly reduces water hardness, heavy metal content, chlorine compounds, and other substances that can adversely affect the taste, odor, and color of tap water. It fits most pitchers from other manufacturers.

The Unimax Standard filter is designed to improve the quality of tap water. It makes the water ideal for drinking, brewing, and cooking. Water filtered through the Dafi Standard is a great alternative to bottled water. It also prevents scale buildup on the heating elements of kettles, irons, and coffee makers.

STEP-BY-STEP FILTRATION - Step 1 - The top filter cover traps mechanical impurities. Properly designed, it ensures proper circulation of the water being filtered.- Step 2 - The filter mesh traps suspended solids or sediment in the water, such as foam, grease, and rust.- Step 3 - Filter media (composition): - Ion exchange resin removes certain heavy metals from the water and captures compounds responsible for scale formation. This softens the water, improves the taste of tea, and prevents a cloudy sediment from forming on the surface.- Activated carbon reduces chlorine and organic compounds found in tap water. It removes unpleasant odors and improves the taste. - Step 4 - The bottom cover, with its microporous structure, performs secondary mechanical filtration, ensuring the highest water purity.
